A high-speed fourdrinier paper machine with a 3.96 meter (156 in) trim width and maximum speed of 670 meters/minute (2,198 feet/min).
It features a modern stainless steel MacFab headbox from 2013 equipped with Honeywell ProFlow II profiling controls, allowing basis weights from 80-235 g/m² (16.4-48.1 lb/1,000 ft²). The dilution system was also installed new in 2013.
The Fourdrinier table uses 11 suction boxes and a 4.93 meter (194 in) suction couch roll to dewater the sheet. Additional dewatering comes from a dandy roll, Hewitt suction press, and nip press with a blind drilled roll.
The expansive 4.66 x 1.52 meter (183.5 x 60 in) dryer section has 38 heated drying cylinders for final moisture removal.
The size press has a 4.62 meter (182 in) roll, and the machine is equipped with a Manchester calendar with 4.42 meter (174 in) rolls rated for 400 kN/m (91.3 kip/ft) nip pressure.
Scanning is handled by a Honeywell 4000 system. Reeling uses a 4.42 meter (174 in) Voith reel.
The winder is a vintage 1987 Jagenberg 65 with two 250 HP motors. Nash vacuum pumps were updated in 2008 along with Allen Bradley drives and controls for dual frequency operation.
It last produced basis weights from 80-250 g/m² (16.4-51.2 lb/1,000 ft²).
