Used Bigelow boiler #1 - 100,000 pounds of steam per hour at 300 psig and 480°F superheated, with Dennis Detrick type furnaces in order to facilitate start-ups with firewood. The fan has a run armature shaft and can be moved by a turbine 200 hp Worthington and an electric motor. The forced draft fan is driven by an electric motor 100 hp.
Produces 100,000 pounds of steam per hour at 300 psig and 480° F.
