Description

Unused biodiesel pre-treatment unit. Made by Desmet Ballestra in 2022 for treating (refining) 200 tons/day of waste renewable feedstock such as used cooking oil (UCO) and animal fats (AF) so that it is ready for blending into a diesel production stream and processed again to become second-generation biodiesel.

Pre-Treatment Unit is a single line process including:- Acid degumming, continuous dry pre-treatment with bleaching and a tank farm.
