Used Portland cement manufacturing plant rated at 1,600,000 tonnes per year. All manufacturers are Japanese: Mitsubishi, Sumitomo, Kobe. The plant was built in 1980 and has undergone many upgrades since installation. The main products are Portland cement – ordinary and also high-strength Portland cement. For thermal energy, coal, oil coke, and wastes (tyres, plastics, wood chips, etc.) are used.
Main equipment:
- Material shop: (2) 400 tph reclaimers with 75 kW motors, (1) silo, (1) 5.5 m diameter x 50 m long material dryer with 400 kW drive rated at 320 tph, (1) coal dryer with 11 kW drive rated at 30 tph, (1) pre-mill with 1200 kW drive rated at 360 tph, (3) 1300 cubic metre material mixing silos, (1) 3500 cubic metre storage silo,
- Calcination shop: (1) pre-heater with KSV attached, NSP 4-stages, (2) ID fans with 1500 kW drives rated at 6,500 m³/min, (1) 4.9 m diameter x 85 m long kiln with 650 kW drive rated at 5000 tph, (1) 3.92 m width x 37.8 m length cooler, (1) electrostatic precipitator rated at 720,000 m³/hour, (2) 15,000 tonne silos, (1) 4.4 m diameter x 13 m long finish pre-mill with 1350 kW drive rated at 254 tph,
- Finish shop: (2) 4.4 m diameter x 13 m long ball mills with 3700 kW drives rated at 254 tph and 95 tph,
- Shipment shop: (2) 15,000 tonne silos, (1) 5,000 tonne silo, (1) 1,000 tonne fly ash silo, (2) 1,250 tonne fly ash cement silos, (1) shipment device rated at 1,000 tph,
- Coal HFO shop: (1) 9,200 tonne, (2) 4,000 tonne, (3) 5,000 tonne coal devices, (1) vertical type coal dryer, (1) vertical type coal mill, (1) 65,000 litre oil tank,
- Power: (1) 30,000 kVA transformer,
- Steam turbine shop: (1) preheater boiler (steam 16 tph), (1) cooler boiler (steam 20.7 tph), (1) turbine, (1) 7,300 kW generator,
- Waste treatment: (1) yard 20 m (W) x 50 m (L) for 6,504 tonnes, (1) 5,700 tonne silo capacity 1200 tpd, (1) 28 cubic metre waste oil tank capacity 48 m³/day, (1) waste tyre 478 m³ capacity 133 tonnes/day, (1) waste plastic 95 m³ mill rated at 2.4 tph, (1) chlorine by-pass rated at 38,100 Nm³/h, (1) waste sludge hopper 80 m³ treatment 144 tpd.
