Edible Oil Refinery 480 Tonnes Per Day

Description

Used edible oil refinery with capacity approximately 480 tonnes/day. Technology used includes Desmet and Westfalia.
The plant consists of (3) lines with sections as follows:
Bleaching - Decoloration:
- Lines 1 & 2 capacity 400 tonnes/day;
- Line 3 capacity 250 tonnes/day.
Deodorisation:
- Line 1 capacity 200 tonnes/day;
- Line 2 capacity 200 tonnes/day;
- Line 3 capacity 250 tonnes/day
Distillation
- Column for 250 tonnes/day (normally used with line 3)
- Column for 300 tonnes/day
Plant also includes a chemical refining line with (5) Westfalia separators as follows: (2) RSA80-01-076 and (3) RTA140-01-076. For chemical degumming (with or without phosphoric acid), caustic neutralisation and washing at 90 degrees Celsius.
NB - Plant is not equipped for dewaxing, so for sunflower, corn, etc. will need to add a cold unit (winterisation tanks and a separator for wax separation).
