6.6 MW 6000 Volts 50 Hz cogeneration plant reportedly made circa 2000 and shut down in 2010 due to rising gas prices. Approximately 34,300 hours of use. Main equipment includes:
- Umisa firetube steam boiler, flow rate 20 tons/hour, pressure 7-8 bar, temperature 170 degrees Celsius, 15.2 MW burner power, volume 55.1 m3, fueled by natural gas.
- (2) Ulstein Bergen KVGS-18G3 engines, 18 cylinders with diameter 250mm, 300mm stroke, 14.7dm3 stroke volume/cyclinder, 1000 rpm, 4 stroke, turbocharged, cooling air intake, designed for natural gas. Otto cycle.
- (2) Leroy Somer power generators, 6000 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz, power factor 0.8.
- ABB Transformer, ratio 22/6.3kV, 8000 kVA.
- ABB low voltage transformer, ratio 6/0.4 kV, 630 kVA.
- Water treatment equipment, osmosis process.
- Cooling tower, 4kW fan power, hot water flow 344m3/hour.
- Ventilation system.
- Compressed air system including (2) Sperre compressors with working pressure 31 bar, 9.5 kW motor, 1.73m3/min.
- (2) Termojet air storage tanks, capacity 1m3 each.
