Olive Grove with 1.5 Tons/Hour Olive Oil Processing Plant

Description

Olive grove with olive oil production equipment. Sale includes land with fully grown olive trees that yield on average between 3 and 5 tonnes of organic olive oil per year. The site currently produces only organic olive oil, but can also produce conventional olive oil. The business has received several awards, certificates and distinctions. There are existing distribution channels to supermarkets and tourists.

The processing equipment is made by Alfa Laval and includes:
- Olive mill with two control panels, unloading hopper, conveyor belt, deleafer, cage to store removed leaves (currently used as fertiliser), washing unit, weighing scale, crusher, millstones, four kneading units, decanter and separator. Input capacity is 1.5 tonnes per hour of olives, with the possibility of at least doubling capacity with a larger decanter. Output capacity of olive oil between October and February is approximately 150 tonnes.
- Storage facilities with two stainless steel tanks with a capacity of 5 tonnes each, and five stainless steel tanks with a capacity of 600 kg each.
- Bottling equipment including a pump to send oil from tanks to the bottling machine, bottling machine with four nozzles suitable for 250 ml, 500 ml and 750 ml bottles, conveyor belt, bottling machine for 40 ml miniature bottles, and cupping machine for 40 ml miniature bottles.

Current owners could assist during the transition to new owners.
