14,620 Litre, 20 Bar Internal, 5 Bar Jacket, Vertical Reactor

Description

Used Langfields vertical reactor with a 14,620 litre working capacity and a 17,260 litre total capacity, made from Inconel (Alloy 600/Werkstoff 2.4816). Internal dimensions: 2,364 mm diameter × 2,500 mm straight side. Features welded dished top and bottom heads. Rated for full vacuum and a design pressure of 20 bar at 230°C internally. Carbon steel jacket on the straight side rated for 5 bar design pressure at 220°C. Includes a two-tier, three-blade pitched paddle agitator, directly driven by a 5.5 kW, 400 volt, 3-phase, 50 Hz, 1,500 rpm motor via a Chemineer model 21GTN-5.5 gearbox and mechanical seal at 106 rpm. Also fitted with three-wall baffles. Mounted on four legs. Manufactured new in 2012. Last used for processing caustic soda and ground glass.
