FKC Type SHX-1000 Screw Type Sludge Dewatering Press

Description

Used FKC type SHX-1000 sludge dewatering screw press. Serial no. M-1340, manufactured April 1989. 47" x 37" feed opening, 9 screen sections with 3/16" holes, with the last 2 screens featuring an additional 1" hole screen on top. Stainless steel screw with steam rotary joint. Spring-loaded back pressure, 3 chain sprockets, 20 HP Siemens 230/460 volt, 1170 rpm drive motor connected to a Beier variator reducer model 20 VK with speed range 27–1.08. Input 15 kW 1200 rpm, which drives a Sumitomo Cyclo drive model H-939B ratio 731:1. Also includes 24" x 12' long stainless steel thickener on steel frame with 3 HP motor.
