Used coating line by Famatex (Germany) ATCL (automatic textile coating line) completely rebuilt in 2004 for coating textiles with materials such as rubber, acrylic, and plastics. The line has an adjustable working width and is mounted on a guided frame construction. Web width ranges from 1500 mm up to 2400 mm. Maximum textile roll diameter is 1500 mm. Minimum diameter of roll is 150 mm. Unwind and rewind type — single position. The line operates with an automatically controlled coating die equipped with two different profile blades and an electronic control feeding system, pumps, pneumatically controlled coat thickness, and manual adjustment of blade position.
The textile web runs on a synchronised anti-skid needle-chain system. Coating layer thickness ranges from 0.1 up to 2 mm. Maximum working speed is 50 m/min. The coated textile passes into the drying tunnel, which uses hot air heated by gas burners (propane-butane). Maximum drying temperature is up to 220 °C. Average gas consumption is up to 35 l/h. The drying tunnel has five chambers and is 16.7 metres long. It has an automatic system for internal temperature and hot air circulation, including exhaust speed. The tunnel has its own needle-chain/snap-type coated textile moving system with electrical control of shrinkage or stretch on the coated fabric, equipped with fully automated drives on guiding rolls.
All rolls installed on the unwinder and winder are made of stainless steel, coated with chromium, including the cooling roll. Maximum pressure between rolls is up to 15,000 kg. Space required for the line: width 6 m × length 50 m. Total power consumption is 100 kW.
Also included with the line:
- Service platform for visual control of the quality of the coating process.
- Four vertical mixers for working on cans, with electrical control of rotation speed.
- Two mixers of 1000 litres each, equipped with feeding systems and agitator speed control.
